The Reibold winery has been a family estate for generations, with its roots tracing back to Hans-Dieter Reibold, who began bottling wines under the family name in 1975. In 2012, the next generation—brothers Philipp and Johannes Reibold—took the helm. With fresh vision and innovative ideas, they have transformed the estate, elevating quality to new heights and positioning Reibold among the rising stars of German wine.
Their efforts have not gone unnoticed: the brothers have received numerous awards, and leading wine authorities have celebrated their achievements. In 2021, Vinum German Wine Guide named Reibold winery “Discovery of the Year,” while Gault & Millau awarded them an “Excellent” rating—firmly establishing their reputation for excellence.
This exclusive cuvée, crafted specially for BASF, reflects their pursuit of refinement and precision: a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Powerful yet elegant, it shows depth and structure, making it an ideal companion for hearty dishes of pork, beef, or veal—Philipp and Johannes themselves recommend pairing it with classic Saltimbocca.
