Oliver Zeter Schlossberg Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Brothers Christian and Oliver Zeter released their very first vintage only 15 years ago, yet they have already secured a respected place in the wine world. For this expressive Sauvignon Blanc, they combined seven different clones sourced from eight vineyard sites across the Southern Palatinate and Mittelhardt. The diversity of microclimates across these sites adds remarkable complexity, giving the wine depth, structure, and length.

The bouquet is vibrant and aromatic, with notes of fresh herbs, apricot, and ripe lychee. On the palate, it is elegant yet characterful—perfect alongside Quiche Lorraine, fish, or seafood dishes.

A charming detail: the bear on the label has become the signature of Zeter wines. It originates from a caricature drawn by Palatinate impressionist Otto Dill, who once sketched Christian and Oliver’s great-grandfather, Walter Bär, as a gruff but endearing drinking bear.
