Founded in the 1960s by Edmund Lucas, Weingut Lucashof has long been a family estate dedicated to quality winemaking. Today, Edmund’s son Klaus and his wife Christine carry on the tradition, expanding the winery with new cellars, a welcoming tasting room, and even a charming hotel. Their passion and dedication shine through in every bottle.
The Buntsandstein Riesling takes its name from the colorful sandstone soils of the Palatinate, whose nutrient-poor structure is ideal for producing outstanding white wines. Delicately floral on the nose, it reveals aromas of yellow stone fruit and fresh herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and mineral, with lively acidity and layers of ripe yellow and tropical fruit — a vibrant expression of its exceptional terroir.
