Founded in 1758 by Andreas Kimich, Weingut Kimich has remained in family hands for eight generations, today run by Franz and Matthias Arnold. With centuries of tradition and a dedication to quality, the estate has become known for crafting wines of distinction.
This Riesling comes from Langenmorgen, one of the Palatinate’s finest vineyard sites, first documented in 1491. Its southeast-facing slopes and red sandstone soils create wines with pronounced peach, apricot, and citrus notes. Fresh and lively when young, it also has excellent aging potential, developing greater depth and elegance over time.
Created as a BASF Exclusive in partnership with Weingut Kimich, this Riesling was awarded first place at the State Awards of Rhineland-Palatinate — a clear sign of its exceptional quality and a shining example of the Palatinate’s classic Riesling style.
