In the 15th century, Adhémar de Massaut built Château Lagrézette on the ruins of a fortified house, perched on the “grèze” slopes above the Lot River. Blending medieval strength with Renaissance elegance, the château fell into obscurity by the 1930s until Alain Dominique Perrin rediscovered it in 1979. Captivated, he purchased the estate and began a meticulous 25-year restoration, bringing the château and its gardens back to life with the help of renowned architects, artisans, and craftsmen.

Driven by a passion for Cahors and its winemaking traditions, Perrin has elevated Château Lagrézette into one of the region’s most celebrated estates. Today, its wines embody power, elegance, and refinement, admired in France and around the world.

This 100% Malbec captures the essence of Cahors: deep ruby color, aromas of red fruit, and a palate that is structured, powerful, and unmistakably noble.
