Now in its third generation, the Brás family steers Quinta 100 Hectares, named after its 100 hectares of vineyards, spread across four estates in Douro. Since 2009, brothers Filipe and André have crafted wines under their own label, selecting the finest grapes from their best sites with guidance from oenologist Francisco Montenegro. Their greatest asset: old vines that yield fewer grapes but produce wines of exceptional depth, richness, and intensity.
Made from 100% Touriga Nacional, Portugal’s most esteemed red grape, this wine captures the variety’s hallmark depth, elegance, and intensity. Once famed for its role in Port, Touriga Nacional now shines in fine table wines from the Douro Valley. Aged six months in French oak, it offers aromas of dark berries, violets, and gentle spice, with a smooth, structured palate. Perfect alongside grilled or roasted meats and hearty dishes like beef stroganoff, this wine is a refined expression of Portuguese craftsmanship.
