2018 Sonnenberg Gewürztraminer Spätlese Alte Reben trocken BASF Exklusiv

The small but exceptional winery Sonnenberg is owned and managed by the Nippgen family in Neuleiningen. Most of their wines are sold directly by the winery to many of the very best German restaurants. We highly recommend this dry Gewürztraminer Spätlese from old vines, which is available exclusively from our wine cellars. It is a wine with notes of lychees, passion fruit and a hint of floral notes.

2018 Diehl Grauburgunder Kabinett dry
The Diehl winery is located on the edge of the Palatine Forest, in the very south of the Pfalz region. Here fruit trees like chestnut, figs, kiwis, lemons and apricots, all flourish thanks to the many days of sunshine, giving this area an almost Mediterranean feeling.

Grauburgunder, which is the German name for Pinot Gris and it is a white mutation of the red grape Pinot Noir. This Grauburgunder’s good palate weight and subtle varietal character makes it an excellent partner for shellfish, white fish, or fresh salads.

2018 Oliver Zeter Sweetheart Sauvignon Blanc

The owner Oliver Zeter´s philosophy is to produce lively, juicy, and easy to understand wines. The bear on his wine label comes from the quill of the well-known Palatinate artist Otto Dill, who was a friend of Oliver’s great grandfather Walter Baer (Bear in German). On one occasion in 1933 Walter was unable to meet his friends for their regular glass of wine, so the artist sent him a postcard with this sketch of “Walter the bear”. Oliver still has the postcard in his kitchen and he feels that since the bear has been with him all his life, then it must also be on the label of his wine.

This delicate sweet Sauvignon Blanc is a bombshell of fruit aromas: peach, pineapple oranges and limes. The taste of this wine is mouth-filling, sweet but still refreshing. An elegant, complex wine which you can easily fall in love with.

2018 Kimich Deidesheimer Langenmorgen Riesling Kabinett trocken BASF Exklusiv

The Kimich winery has been in existence for over 250 years and since 1973 the Arnold family runs the winery.

The grapes for this Riesling are from the vineyard Deidesheimer Langenmorgen, which is situated on southeastward facing slopes. The grapes thrive here due to its warm sunny mornings and cooler periods in the afternoon. This a fresh, almost effervescent Riesling, with typical aromas of citrus and juicy peach. In the mouth you will feel a nice balance between the slight residual sugar and a refreshing, mouthwatering acidity – enjoy this wine with light cuisine or dishes on the spicy side.

2018 Salomon Undhof Grüner Veltliner Heiliggeist Krems

Salomon Undhof has produced white wines from the best terraced sites along the river Donau for over 230 years. This Austrian winery specializes in crystal clear wines with fine minerality, uniting character, balance and harmony. Salomon Undhof's wines are favored by sommeliers around the world, so it was not a big surprise to us when Wine & Spirits Magazine in 2016 picked the winery as one of the 100 best in the world.

Grown on loess-terraces owned by the parish of Krems, this is a classic racy Grüner Veltliner. This wine was originally used as altar wine during the celebration of the Eucharist. We think you will enjoy the aromas of elderflowers, white pepper, pear, and white peaches. This wine will pair wonderfully with fish, salad, or a quiche.

2018 Kruger Rumpf Schiefer Alte Reben Riesling Feinherb

The winery Kruger-Rumpf was founded in the 1790's and like most vine-growers at the time, the family sold their production to wine-cooperatives. Today brothers Georg and Philipp manage the winery and bottles the wine exclusevly under their own label. The winery is located in the small village Münster-Samsheim in the wine growing region Nahe. The region is known for its extraordinarily diverse range of soil types, which is the reason that the region produce a broad variety of wines from relatively few grape varieties. To guarantee best quality, Kuger-Rumpf’s vineyards are farmed sustainably. They keep bee hives nearby to facilitate pollination and the harvest is completely done by hand. This Riesling shows well-balanced acidity, considerable fruit as well as minerality.
